We currently offer two different Landscape Design options.

Option 1: This is with our in-house landscape designer. With this option, you will meet with our designer at your home. She will discuss with you your needs and wants as pertaining to a new landscape or complete renovation of your existing landscape. If you have a plot plan of your house on your lot, we will use that, or if not, she will take measurements.

She will then create a landscape drawing for the backyard, or frontyard or both. Once finished, we will work up a price to do all the work according to the plan. The final meeting will be one of going over all the elements of the plan and explaining the construction process and going over the proposal.

We typically charge $250.00 for the front yard and $250.00 for the backyard or $500.00 for both.
We often run a special where we will do both at no additional charge if you decide to have us install the landscaping. For examples of our Option #1 Designs click here.

Option 2: This option consists of meeting with a licensed landcape Architect. He will also meet with you at your home and discuss your landscaping needs. He will also take a plot plan that you have or take measurements of your home and work up a complete CAD drawing.

The benefits of using a licensed landscape architect is in the specifics. When he meets with you to go over the final plan he will also give you our proposal for the installation of everything. Since everything is in a scaled drawing and detailed. This option typically runs between $1,500 and $2,500 on up.

For larger projects that have many elements from waterfeatures, pavers, exterior structures (arbors, pergolas, gazebos, etc.), outdoor kitchens, fire-pits, retaining walls, etc., this is definitely the way to go as all such items are detailed to exactness. You will be able to construct in phases and by going by the plan, it will limit having to do things twice or poorly.
If getting other bids, it holds other landscapers to the specific plan that calls out exact sizes of each plant and tree, etc. See our landscape Architects website at www.in-sitedesigngroup.com, ask for Cory and tell him you got his information from our website and want the Landscape Architect Option B.

Whether you go with either option, having a plan is money well spent. We highly recommend either option.
